Currently only these two awards are used on the iStory Silver website. As the community grows, however, and the number of iStories published here rises, new titles and awards will be introduced to help appreciate our writers' work, and help their stories to popular success.

iStory of the Year Award: This award is only given once a year to the one writer, who has proven that an artwork can be created in any format - even if it is an insignificant or community alienated one - and it can still have the quality of a masterpiece in its genre. It is offered to the highest quality story written for this website in the year of its publication.

Basic Criteria:
- The story should be as original as possible.
- Its text and interactive features have to guide and involve the reader into the writer's world and entertain him/her.
- The story has to be appropriate for its format.
- The complexity of its option branch system, and the simplicity of its user-friendly and imaginative environment add extra score to the iStory's interactive quality.

Exemplary of the Month Award: Each month, this award is offered to the most outstanding interactive writing published - from the Quality iStories category - that sets an example to all others in the quality of its genre. The award declares the chosen artwork officially the best iStory of the month.

Basic Criteria:
- The closer the iStory achieves the criteria set for the iStory of the Year Award (see above), the higher chance it has of becoming the quality example of the month. This includes the writer's talent for writing, the amount of energy he/she put into his/her work and the amusing nature of his/her written interactive story.
- Additional to this, the variety of the type of readers it can involve counts as a major bonus, for it determines the poplular success of the artwork.
